What to expect: Bordered at the back by desert and offering views of Camelback Mountain, the tranquil resort meanders over 25 acres and features hammocks, fountains, lawns, pampas grass, and mature pine, palm, and other trees.
Amenity highlights: Bordered by lounges and umbrellas, a heated, 120-foot-long freeform pool includes a rectangular volleyball section. In another section, a 30-foot-long heated oval pool offers secluded swimming and relaxing.
Insider tip: The Mediterranean-style shopping village at the center of the resort, the Borgata of Scottsdale, offers jazz in a fountain courtyard on Friday evenings during the winter.
