Was good for me
Everything was good for me. Just stayed one night. Free breakfast was good too. The only thing that could have been better was the fan in the heater was loud enough to cause a problem listening to the TV.

Not Impressed in Asheville
The first room we were given was nice, except for a "ticking" refrigerator. My husband went back to the office and they "upgraded us" to a room with worn furniture and a bad layout (if someone was at the desk you had to climb over them or the bed to get to the bathroom). After unpacking and grabbing some dinner we returned to the room and I started to take a shower. After putting shampoo on my hair and lathering it up the water turned cold and the pressure dropped DRASTICALLY. But then, IT WAS GONE!! Apparently they were having trouble with toilets running and turned the water off to work on them--with NO WARNING. The worst part is the water was off for 12 hours!!!! The motel is old and in the process of renovation, but even allowing for that I would not stay there again. PS The free breakfast buffet was a great deal, the selection was vast--a real hot buffet.

great value and great location
Walking distance to Vanderbile campus and 5 minute drive to downtown area. Breakfast was good, staff was helpful and friendly. Heated pool was relaxing. Bathroom is updated.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Complimentary hot breakfast saved time and money. Several reasonably priced restaurants are within walking distance.
