Awesome getaway
My wife and I stayed here to get away for our anniversary and we absolutely loved it! The staff is extremely nice and will do anything to make you feel at home. It is in a great location as well, very close to restaurants, clubs, and many other fun places.

A wonderful place to stay
I was in Pensacola as a volunteer Voting Rights Attorney for the Obama Campaign. I came in with a twisted right ankle facing a punishing four day schedule on the last days of the campaign. My hosts could not have been more accommodating. The house is sunny and the kitchen cozy. Its in an attractive neighborhood that is redeveloping, near the park, bay and tourist areas. Breakfast was friendly. What a civilized and welcoming place to stay. The bathroom was large and comfortable and the bed had a first rate mattress. The recliner in the room was certainly welcome. The Russel Roost may be a great place for a relaxing visit to Pensacola, but I wouldnt know. If you have to drive hard, in pain, towards something important I cant imagine a more wonderful place to stay. Im told the B&B is popular for wedding parties and it seems well suited for that. A tourist looking for something different should be happy here. A business traveler should awake well rested to breakfast in the kitchen.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
The host was kind enough to return me to the airport at the end of my stay. We saw a few sights on the way. Thanks.

Nice place near Downtown area
B&B was great. Location was on a few blocks from Downtown area restaurants and bars. Rooms are big and clean with free wireless internet. The owner greeted me by name upon arrival and was super nice. I was on a business trip but would come back to this place for a vacation trip too.
Traveler's tip on dining
The Fish House/Atlas Oyster Bar/The Deck are all in one great spot. Must have the Shrimp Ya-Ya at the Fish House. McQuires Irish Pub great atmosphere and steaks. The smoked prime rib was excellent. Had a great home made chichen salad sandwich at Dharma Blue. If you are going to the beach check out Hemmingways.
