Very comfortable, nice atmosphere
Although this hotel is in the middle of the desert, it was like an oasis after a long day on the road. Very clean and comfortable with a good restraunt.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Sorry to say that even though we we’re happy to find such a great place to stay in Winnemucca, there’s not a lot for a visitor there. There is a Wal-mart if you need anything from there, there’s a movie theatre across the street from the hotel. We stayed for only one night, but on that night, there was a rodeo going on. Even though we’re not rodeo fans, we went and to our suprise, we had a great time there.

Terrible place to stay
Spent one night there on the way up to Oregon. Can’t believe this hotel was rated three stars. Rooms need to be remodeled - rooms smelled, decor was old, carpet needs cleaning, room was dark, etc. Also, several of us ended up getting bug bites (bed bugs?). Dined at the restaurant out of convenience, but the food and service was not that good. I will not be going back to this hotel.
