Wonderful!
Loved the linen sheets, character and comfort! Couldnt afford to eat in the restaurant though!
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
We enjoyed eating at little family-owned and -run restaurants off the main streets! Take a compass--we kept going the wrong direction. Its easy to get lost in Rome!

We will stay at Hotel Eden every trip to Rome for the rest of our lives!
We LOVED the EDEN. The staff - particularly Fabio - were so kind and generous, especially toward our toddler daughter. The rooms (ours and my fathers) were beautifully (and softly) appointed, with every detail (the double front door, for instance, guaranteeing no noise from the hallway) well considered. It was a perfect location to jet off in any direction - to the Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, the Borghese Gallery and gardens, Via Veneto, etc. The only complaint we had was the cost of the breakfast, which was outrageous at 53 EURO for the buffet. Really, thats totally insane for essentially fruit and baked goods. Enjoy a cornetto and cappuccino in one of the many street side cafes right around the corner and just have a drink in Edens 6th floor bar to admire the view.

Posh Accommodations
My husband and I went to the Eden Hotel in Rome for our June 2009 honeymoon. We had never been to Italy (but have visited London and most of Spain) and browsed through several hotels along with reviews from multiple sources. We selected the Eden because of the air conditioning and general positive reviews. A great plus was the fact that we could control the temperature. We stayed in a modest bedroom with high ceilings and a queen bed. The bathroom and foyer were made of marble and very pristine. Room service was very on top of things and would come by twice a day to fix our bed or replace towels and toiletries. The concierge was equally attentive and helped us with directions to places and recommended restaurants when asked. The staff spoke English quite clearly and were always ready to help.
