Charming
This hotel was charming and quaint. If you are planning a trip to the Sequoia national forest or need a place to stay when visiting relatives in Fresno, Visalia or Tulare I recommend staying here. La Quinta hotels are great, the staff is friendly and they have a wonderful continental breakfast. The best part was the indoor heated pool and Jacuzzi. This particular amenity made the stay complete.

Need more staff - too much self service
3 light bulbs were burnt out and when we called for replacements, no one was available, only one person on duty, so we had to get the bulbs and put them in ourselves. The battery on the TV remote went out and we had to go to the desk to get replacements for those has well. Took a long time for front desk to answer the phone. The staff apologized and were friendly.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Downtown Visalia (old town) was very nice - some great restraurants - make sure to check out the secret garden in the back of the "Veggie Garden" restraurant on West Main St.
