Not the best in the area but close to KSC
We book this hotel when we were spending the week end at KSC for the last (mis)lauch. Don’t go to this hotel with the goal to have a good night of sleep! Between the extremely noisy A/C, the freight trains crying out loud in the middle of the night from the other side of the boulevard and the motorcycles crusing the boulevard at full speed (with very loud pipes), it will be a miracle if you can sleep two hours in a row without being waked up... The room was clean, the service average and the continental breakfast very light (one type of fruit, one kind of biscuit...). One of the two non smoking rooms we booked was smelling smoke. We didn’t use the amenities, so I cannot judge them but... It was the cheapest room we could find in the area during a launch week end and it’s less than 30 minutes from the KSC.

Not Impressed
This is the 1st time I’ve felt the necessity to respond to a survy, but When we arrived, the room was not clean,sheets on the bed were heavily wrinkled & appeared to have not been changed or a poor job of making it. There was trash in the dresser and sticky liquid so we were unable to use it. It was fairly quite, but genrally needed some major upgrades to the property.

Not Impressed
Hotel sits beside the Banana River and when we arrived at low tide the stench was so horrible that my wife had to wear a mask over her nose and mouth - and that was in the room. The breaker for the electrical power tripped and when I informed the front desk they said they had to wait for the maintenance man to arrive. He was the only one with a key - none of the hotel staff had a key to get into the breaker panel. We were without the TV, refrigerator and microwave for hours. Unsat.
