An inexpensive alternative
Not far from the Lyon Airport, and located in a nice tree-shaded airy place, the Premiere Classe offered us an inexpensive alternative overnight stop, since we were departing at 7 am in the morning, and felt that the town of Lyon was too far away for such an early flight. The hotel also had windows which opened, which was blissful in the warm summer night.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
We drove in to Lyon’s Old Town for dinner, then back to the hotel for a night of sleep before our early departure for London. We left our rental car off at the airport before catching our flight.

Simplistic and Cheap
This hotel is nothing to write home about... unless you’re one who likes to complain. It’s just simple. A place to rest your head. There’s a nice restaurant next door (La Campanile) that was affordable with very friendly service. It was small but not small for a European hotel. It’s no frills. I do think that because they are so close to the airport that they should have a shuttle. They are the closest hotel to Lyon St. Exupery that I could find. The taxi ride was easy to set-up but it cost 22 euro (I think the driver ripped us off on purpose). All in all, just a cheap and clean place to rest your head!
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
You can walk just down the street and for 2 euro take a bus directly downtown (they leave every hour on the :25). It was about a 5 minute walk and took about 20 minutes to get downtown.

basic but gets the job done
We arrived late automated check in. We were close to the airport and it met our needs. I would stay here again price very reasonable.
