We will stay there again!
If you want a clean comfortable room with a friendly and helpful staff at a low price, this place is for you! The hotel is very tricky to find. Its across the street from the University. Youll notice a odd little alcove on the right side of the street. When you walk into it there is a gate on the right hand side. Ring the buzzer labeled Hotel Europa. After they buzz you in youll see a door directly in front of you labeled Hotel Europa THIS IS THE WRONG DOOR. Instead turn left and walk all to the end of the passage. The last door on the right is the correct one. Ring the bell there as well. The hotel is on the 4th floor, but you will climb 6 flights of stairs to get there. There is an elevator that you can take for 10 euros, but I only used it once. If you dont have much luggage you can walk from the train station in 15 minutes. The hotel is very tricky to find. Traveler's tip on local attractions
Hotel Europa is in the ancient part of the city, close to all the good stuff. Its only a few minutes walk to the Naples underground tunnels (which is a must see), food, night life, etc. Turn LEFT when you exit the hotel for lots of little shops and food, a RIGHT has little to offer.

Okay hotel for single travelers...not for families
This hotel was hard to find and is located behind a metal gate. Parking is about 1/4 of a mile away at another hotel. It was difficult to navigate the city streets with our luggage. The room was decent for European standards. The walls were very thin so if you have children, do not stay here.

Great Location
Unlike American hotels, many in Naples are off the beaten path. Europeo is no exception, however, once you find it, the value is definitely there. Clean, and comfortable for European standards. Definitely worth the price. Located right in the historic center, a short walk to pretty much everywhere.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
In Naples, like Rome, you will find yourself looking for lights signaling you to cross on most busy streets. If you do not see one, then it is a pedestrian right of way. Hard to believe on a 4 lane street, but the cars and scooters stop, even though seconds before they seemed to be doing 40 miles per hour.
