Hotel needs repairs
The desk clerk could not find our reservation. She looked thru her computer and became frustrated because her computer locked up. She tried for 10 minutes to call expedia for confirmation but had no patience to wait on the phone. I showed her the copy of the itinerary I had printed out and gave her my Shilo Business Account #. This just increased her frustration. She refused to even book us in. My wife who was waiting in the car came in to see why we were not going to a room. We were both exhausted from having traveled over 800 miles that day. My wife asked if there was a problem. The clerk said “oh there’s no problem, I have your reservation, would you like to be upstairs or downstairs.” I was a bit taken back by the clerk’s sudden about face. I asked her if she had our reservation all along to which she replied that she just found it. I was too tired to argue and was grateful that we were going to get some sleep.Once in the room, I noticed that it appeared someone forgot to change the sheets on the bed. Fortunately there were 2 beds and the 2nd one had crisp sheets. Now for the last bug in this episode. The shower drain was really slow. We had to stand way back and run the shower slowly so we would not be standing in a pool of water.
