Day or night-shopping-dining and amusements are steps away. From July 3rd through Labor Day-there s also free entertainment on the boardwalk fireworks-concerts-and square dancing. In early June-Weirs Beach is home to the world famous Laconia Motorcycle Week rally-3rd largest in the USA with 350-000 in attendance. Other events of significant interest to visitors include Nextel Cup races in July and September at the nearby New Hampshire International Speedway-and early Augusts Soul Fest at the nearby Gunstock recreation area. All units have a magnificent scenic view of Lake Winnipesaukee-and include CCTV-W/W carpeting-AC-heat-and access to an icemaker. The comfortable cottages all have cathedral ceilings-ceiling fans-and a shower. Large cottages have kitchenettes and either a Shared Balcony or a Screened-in Porch-while small cottages have refrigerators and an Open Porch. The modern motel units all have maid service and a full bath. Upper Balcony units may rent an optional full kitchen-while Lower Balcony units come with a refrigerator. Guests needing more space may rent a Large Two Room Cottage-which has one bedroom with one queen or king bed-and a living room with one or two double beds. Or-they may rent two adjacent Motel Upper Balcony units-which can be connected through the full kitchen-which is in-between the two units.
