I’d love to keep this place a secret. It is the epitome of a tropical setting. Trinity Beach is a quiet area. Each apt. faces the beach which is directly across the road. You hear the constant lap of waves, the screech of wild cockatoos and the rustle of palmate leaves in the wind. The spacious terrace had a lounge chair and a table with six chairs ideal to enjoy each meal. Our apartment’s kitchen, living room, dining room and two bedrooms face a panoramic view of the ocean. The facility is beautiful with tranquil reflecting ponds and fountains. The swimming pool is lovely, but small in comparison to mega facilities in the United States. The reason is that fresh water is precious in all of Australia so conservation is priority. The staff was very helpful in arranging tours and kindly assisted with our other needs. I would readily go back there.

A Cape Tribulation tour is a must. It can be a strenuous 10 hour day but quite enjoyable as you experience the natural Daintree Rainforest, the river and the surrounding area. There are many tours that go to the area each one offering different sites, activities and times. We chose a small intimate tour with a 10 person max and a knowledgeable guide who was born and raised in the area. Australian Wild Escapes provided a uniquely designed vehicle, a delicious lunch at a remote and elegant restaurant, high tea, river cruise, walks through the rainforest and much more.

Exactly what we were after!

My new bride and I stayed at Sea Change Beachfront apartments for our honeymoon in late September. It was our first trip to Australia, and we couldn’t have been more happy. Trinity Beach is a beautiful beach lined by holiday apartments and a few quaint restaurants. Even though part of our stay overlapped with a school holiday, the beach was quiet enough that it almost felt like a private beach at a resort. On our trip we aimed to balance relaxation with some sightseeing, so we spent about three full days just relaxing and three getting out to see the major attractions in the area (the Great Barrier Reef, The Daintree Rainforest, and Kurunda). Simon and Becca at Sea Change were very helpful in pointing us towards trips that we were ultimately very happy with (and, I might add, very friendly and helpful overall); best of all, all of the trips picked us up either right at or very close to the hotel, so we didn’t need to rent a car. Sea Change itself was beyond my expectations - an extremely spacious, clean and modern apartment with an unbelievable view. Both my wife and I have been raving about our trip to Australia since we’ve been back, and each time we do, we always mention "this great place called Sea Change". We certainly hope to return there sometime soon!

Lunico’s was our fast favorite for eats on Trinity Beach. Blue Moon (just about a block in from the beach) had a fantastic breakfast, too!

Pool and Hottub not heated

Just a warning note, the pool and hot tub are solar heated. If you plan to take a dip in the early, winter, morning, it is a tad bit on the chilly side. Otherwise I loved the hotel and its location is fabulous.
