Relaxing break
After much of the hustle and bustle of India the Taj Village Goa represented a professionally run, helpful and comfortable place to as we Aussies say " veg out."

Good hotel but dirty communal areas and terrible beach
The hotel is a good 5* one, maybe a bit overpriced. The common areas are not very clean (the poor staff does not have the appropriate tools to clean...) but according to the Indian standards is understandable... The beach is just a no-go. Like having no beach....It looked like a huge dustbin. According to the receptionist, ’it was due to the monzoon’...I wonder why they couldnt send somebody to clean up a bit... Otherwise, we enjoyed a lot our 4 nights spent there!

one of the best hotels out there
Excellent place... i feel like i gained many years by staying at this resort.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
try negotiating with all types of vendors as they will try to quote at least 30% higher price to foreign tourists. you can rent a motorbike right outside of the hotel at the local vendor.
