Wonderfull place to stay!
I loved everything about the hotel! The room was imaculate the staff were very friendly and helpful. I have never had a nicer stay in a hotel. I had people ask me why I didnt stay closer to the city center in Dublin, because Maldron was in city west I was happy to stay at a place that was more quiet my days were filled with travel so it was nice to go back to a hotel where I could relax drink a pint and read my book. I was close enough for me to city center and everything else that I wanted to do.
Traveler's tip
I am very happy that I rented a GPS I read a bad review before my trip and I almost didnt rent it but it truly was worth it because I rented a car a toured the country by my self.I traveled alone and I am a female and I felt very safe once I got to Ireland because the people are so very friendly! Everything that your read about the Irish people and there hospitality is true! So if you are planning to go by yourself dont be afraid go and have fun!

Would definately stay again
Our stay at the Maldron was very positive. The hotel was clean and quiet with free parking on the grounds. The staff, especially evening reception, was very helpful in getting us directions and offering helpful suggestions. It was a short trip into Dublin via highways. There are few restaurants nearby (the closest we found was two exits up) but there is food available in the hotel. We would definately stay at the Maldron Citywest again.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
If you are visiting Dublin, get a pass for the Hop On, Hop Off bus. The pass is good for 24 hours so you can take the whole tour, then choose where you would like to get off and on. Also, parking at the train station is much cheaper than parking at the meters in town. Check the weather and always carry an umbrella!

Convenient
The only issue I had with the Maldron was the fact that the Luas shuttle stopped running so early. Otherwise, the hotel was clean and very easily accessible from the Naas Road. None of the traffic and parking nightmares of staying in town.
