comfortable, family-style hotel
We spent 3 nights on our first stay and then returned for an additional 2 nights a week later. The hotel is well maintained, quiet, with very accomodating employees who give excellent service. We were visiting with family in the city and the room was comfortable for visiting with grandkids. There was an excellent restaurant in-house and two others across the street so it was well located. Since it is near I95, our access was also very convenient. We would absolutely stay there again.

Over Rated
If you are visiting Fort Bragg, this hotel is pretty far away from the Army base. The room I booked through Expedia was occupied by holdover quest, and the occupancy was not up to date in the hotels tracking system. I had to return to the front desk for a new room assignment. They upgraded me to a twin suite on the first floor, because there were no non-smoking King rooms left. The new rooms door opened on the court yard and was ajar when I entered the room. This made me feel very unsecure, but I was able to get the door closed and locked. There also were no hangers in the room, so I had to make a second trip back to the lobby in order to get 5 hangars. Free breakfast is served in the pool area, which wreaks of the smell of chlorine. Not a pleasant dining environment.
