A Truly Elegant Hotel
The room and commmon areas were absolutely lovely. Despite our room facing a busy street, the rooom was totally insulated from the noise thanks to the double-paned windows. The staff provided excellent service - helpful and friendly (but in a formal way in keeping with the caliber of the hotel.) Our only complaint was that the mattress on our bed was very hard, causing cumulative back pain and increasing sleep dissruption over our 3-night stay. The mattress issue is the only reason that I rated "comfort of room" 4 instead of 5.
