A place to Relax
My room was #202 Very Beautiful!!! If your looking to relax this is the place to stay. Very close to 5th ave where all the shops an Restaurants are to eat!! You can walk or short cab ride for a few $$ My room had 3 bedrooms 2 bath full kitchen area an washer an dryer if needed. The pool was nice a lil narrow but very long to just chill. I would for sure go back an stay again!! Bring friends or family. Not for a single couple

Playacar beats Cancun
We’ve stayed in Cancun twice and this is the first time we stayed at Playacar. We really loved it. The condo is very nice. Our rooms didn’t have beach towels or a blow dryer, but when we asked for these items, they were brought to us. There was also no bbq available. The rooms are very nice - lots of marble and granite. They were getting ready to repaint the balcony which needed the attention, but other than that everything worked well and looked great. Beautiful grounds and pool, too. The surf is calm in this area, and the pedestrian mall is a great place to eat and shop at. Would definatly go back.

Fantastic place to stay
Our family of 4 stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. Room was great, service was great, weather perfect. The room was in a perfect spot in the complex, and in excellent shape. The proximity to downtown Playa or to the plaza down the street (right out of hotel parking lot) was ideal. We rented a car so getting to/from downtown even quicker than walking. Plenty of cabs to be found if you don’t want the 15-20 minute walk to downtown and restaurants. We’ve done all inclusives in Cancun before, but this vacation was better - the area is safe and fine to walk around, more upscale than Cancun. Drove to Akamul for excellent snorkeling and Tulum to see the ruins - these can be done together in a day and well worth it. Overall, we can’t wait to and will go back to Condo Hotel Paseo del Sol.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
First, alcohol purchasing at Walmart on Sunday needs to be done before 2 pm. Try the following restaurants: Babe’s on 5th ave and 10th for great Thai value, Il Piscadore on 5th ave and Av. Constitutientes for great Italian value.
