Great Business Hotel, But far from the Action
I very much enjoyed this radisson. It was very chic and geared definitely to the business crowd, especially seeing that Canary Wharf is essentially the business area of London. The hotel has a nice staff, very helpful. The rooms were nice and plush (the bed is a bit close to the floor for me). The bathrooms were awesome as it had both a tub and separate shower. The one thing that this hotel did not have was a great location. It is a few miles from central London where all of the tourist stuff is (Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Museums, etc..). Youll either have to pay an expensive cab fare to get you to central London or take the tube/DLR. The closest tube/DLR station is about 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. Also there a no restaurants around except the hotels and McDonalds (5minute walk away). But it is a great hotel if you need to be in Canary Wharf or Close to the O2 arena for top notch shows.
Traveler's tip
If planning to stay at this hotel and will be coming by tube or DLR, suitcases will be a headache. The DLR station is above ground and the elevators to go up/down dont work. My advice is to take an express train or tube from the airport (Gatwick or Heathrow) to either Paddington or Victoria station and then pay for a taxi to take you to the hotel. Especially if you have a lot of luggage or are travelling with others

Great hotel...a little out of the way..
I would highly recommend the Radisson Edwardian New Providence Wharf Hotel. It was very clean, the staff was friendly, and the Full English Breakfast was great. The only downside is that the hotel is a little out of the way. It is about 15 to 20 minutes walking distance away from the Canary Wharf tube station, but the hotel provides a shuttle there regularly in the morning and again in the evenings. I loved it!
