No longer bed and breakfast
The hotel is no longer bed and breakfast. The hotel provides continental breakfast upon request for $5 per person. It includes a small box of cereal, fruit, pastry, juice, and milk. I also didn’t find AC in the room. There was a fan. It can get very hot in the late afternoon and evening, but cools down overnight. The room was small, but clean. The surroundings were beautiful. There is marshland on one side, and mountain and forest on the other side. You can rent a canoe or go hiking on the five miles of trails on the property. Beware that there were tons of mosquitoes, and I came across many barking dogs in a large fenced area while walking on the trails. That scared me away. The people at the property were friendly. You will bump into the other guests at the lodge since the lodge is a single house, and everyone shares the dining and kitchen area.
