Great winter fun!
We arrived at 12:45 to do early check-in. After about 5 mins of waiting in line, we were told our room was ready. The king suite with balcony on the 4th floor was very large with a vaulted ceiling. The waterpark was excellent. Areas for all ages, although I didn’t see many high schoolers. There is a pizza hut and candy/snack shop right outside of the waterpark where we had lunch. Everything in the hotel is well maintained and clean. At night the hotel was noisy with the magic questers. It is better to just take the steps. We went offsite for dinner. There is a ruby tuesdays, outback, mcdonalds,arbys, several gas stations, etc. surrounding the hotel. Checkout was easy through the tv and we stayed at the waterpark until around 2pm. You can stay all day if you want. They have changing rooms, showers, hairsryers, etc. Overall we had a fabulous time and will definately return.

Good getaway
Check your credit card though. I booked through Expedia and all was fine. I left my credit card on record to bill charges back to and found, when we returned, the hotel billed my credit card also. They were nice when i called about it, though, and refunded the double charge.

Very Nice Hotel and Waterpark
Mason, Ohio Great Wolf Lodge is a great waterpark. We have been to Sandusky Kalahari, Sandusky Great Wolf Lodge and Castaway Bay. As far as overall hotel and waterpark, I would choose Kalahari because it is huge! Only thing I did not like is we were cold the entire time in the waterpark. A warm waterpark is the most important thing for my family and I. We live closer to the Sandusky Great Wolf Lodge but my family wanted to have a bigger waterpark without being cold like we were at Kalahari. It was chilly at Mason’s Great Wolf Lodge. Not quite as cold as Kalahari. They had a great Toddler area and wavepool. The slides were great too! The room was very nice and clean. If we wanted to go to someone other than Sandusky, we would visit this Great Wolf Lodge again.
