it is ok for business trip / short trip; not recommended for single girl
feeling not very secure during night time as i was travelling by myself only. the bar at the 2nd floor was very noisy; and many people were smoking outside the hotel entrance that made me feel not very secure / comfortable. the hotel has very good location; the heart of Downtown area; but not very good for a single girl to stay; the overall the room was good; small but tidy.

Downtown LA - Financial District
Great little hotel for an overnight business trip to LA. Walking distance to Financial District, Staples Center, Nokia Theater, LA Live. Quiet, clean, and comfortable. Note: rooms are on the small side and bathroom too. This is not a resort hotel for the family. It is a reliable place to sleep and get a good nights rest. I use this hotel as it is two blocks from my office and I will stay (as with this trip) too late to make the commute home only to turn around and come back in the morning. Food choices available within two blocks range from fast food to $$$$. Parking available at comparitively reasonable rates to surrounding hotels. Perfect hotel as "sleeping base" for adults visitors or as mentioned, that one or two day business trip to downtown LA.

The Hotel was OK
There was live Jazz in the lobby on Friday & Saturday night which made it seem more like a night club than a hotel since the lobby is rather small. During the day the lobby is quaint and quite which made it nice to enjoy continential breakfast.
