Great place to relax
Lovely gardens and places to relax overlooking the river. Good food and ample complimentary breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed my stay there very much and would definitely stay there again. Only minus, and it’s a small one -- their DVDs (which can be played for free in your room) skip and stop, so are unviewable.

The resort is located away from downtown and other attractions, but offers free transportation into town twice a day (but not back).

Nice oasis in Chiang Mai
Lanna Mantra is a very nice hotel, with comfortable rooms, simply but elegabtly decorated, all surrounded by an extremelly beautiful garden. It is a little far from the city center, but the nice location at the river more than compensate for the distance. Service is Ok, but it seems to lack a more present management. Restaurant is simple but food is tasteful.
