Very comfortable hotel
We had no problems with this hotel. The room was far larger and more comfortable than expected and the very friendly staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. The ocean front is beautiful, with crystal clear water, but the beach is artificial. It’s almost more like a pool than a beach and I can see where there might be some difficulties when the hotel is crowded with the summer rush. The hotel does offer diving trips and canoes for guests. Overall, we were very happy with this hotel. Definitely four stars.

Check out Santuario de Montenero, a local church on a mountain, with fantastic views of the area.

Avoid it, 2 stars maximum
Rooms are clean that’s the only positive side, unless you like concrete beaches, yes I mean a beach in "concrete". Don’t even think you’ll have a nice spot, they prefer to rent it to their local friends...Oh I forgot to mention the noise of the train and no place for you car on the parking lot. Avoid by all means.
