I will stay at this hotel on my next visit to Chiang Mai
I was very impressed with the quality of this hotel. I was offered an upgrade by the hotel to a larger room upon my arrival, but I chose to keep the room that was reserved. September 2009 was the month that I was at this hotel. The room was very comfortable with a nice balcony. The breakfast buffet was very good. The hotel is in an excellent location. The front desk staff provided excellent customer service and spoke good English. The weather was excellent during my visit to Chiang Mai. It rained one day out of the four days of my trip.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
One place that I would recommend for dining is Dukes. Dukes is located in the market bazaar area which is ten minutes from the hotel. The food is very good. There is a McDonald’s next to Duke’s. I would suggest taking a taxi from the Chiang Mai airport to the hotel because the price is less than the cost of the hotel shuttle. The Elephant Trekking, Ox Cart Ride, and Bambo Rafting was a lot of fun.

Relaxing hotel
Beautiful location on the Ping River but close to central amenities. Good choice of resturants in house and rooms lovely.

Very best in all aspects. Fantastic staff. Beautiful, large clean rooms. Very good meals. Hotel and grounds are very pretty. Safe and close enough for us to walk to evening bazar. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
