Saratoga Weekend
The price of the room did not match the quality you’d expect, but it was Travers Stakes weekend. That being said, we knew what we were getting into. It will be my first choice again next year. Less than a mile from the track and less than half a mile from a great and very inexpensive diner made for a great weekend.

very close to downtown Saratoga
We were pleasantly surprised with the Grand Union. It was by far the least expensive place to stay in the downtown area. It has been recently refurbished, new bathroom etc. Not a lot of perks (no hairdryer or fridge), but there was a cont breakfast, and staff was very friendly and helpful.

Decent Hotel and close to all
The Grand Union is a nice hotel for the price. You can walk to town or the track. The swimming pool was a bit dirty, but would stay again
