Quiet/beautiful surroundings
It is located on Lido Island. the water bus stop to go to Venice Island is just 10-15min walk. 10min walk to the beach. very quiet and beautiful surroundings. room is clean as room amenities, there is no in-room safe, A/C, bathtub. staff is nice, but English is limited. especially, overnight front desk. do not ask for help. waste time- i just wanted to buy a bottle of water, he did not understand at all. overall, enjoyed stay.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
restaurants on Venice Island are expensive. come back to Lido Island and eat. also, if you wanna use restroom in public, you have to pay about 1.50euro.

Hot Water
There was no hot water in the room and the staff didn’t apologize or offer to do anything to make it better. They did say they’d "take a look at it" when we left. Besides that the hotel was fine, but a freezing cold shower really dampers a vacation. If you stay here make sure to go to the beach!

Lovely local hotel
We were very pleased with the hotel. It is quaint, but comfortable. Be prepared, there is no air conditioning; but the windows provide adequate ventilation and allow for the scent of freshly cooking croissants to awaken you in the morning. Staff was friendly but English is limited. Very enjoyable.
Traveler's tip on dining
La Taverna is within walking distance and is very good. We ate there twice!
