3 days in Boston

Great location-close to everything. The upper deck trolley stops at the hotel and you get a 2 day pass for the price of one. We walked the freedom trail and enjoyed some shows in the evening. The beds with comfort numbers were not the best, just OK. Everthing else was top notch. Great choice.

We’ll be back!

Loved our stay in the Radisson - the rooms were very clean and bright with a nice balcony overlooking Boston city. We started each day with a swim in the lovely swimming pool (although there were no changing rooms or showers). Breakfast was not included but one day when we ordered it in the room it was overpriced and cold, so skip that! Internet was available in the main lobby with compliments of the hotel with printing also. It was very convenient for the sightseeing trolleys and the theatre. Very near to Boston Common and the gardens.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Get half-price tickets on the day in Quincy Market at the TKTS booth. We went to see The Blue Man Group - excellent!

Best Hotel in Boston

Stayed for 5 days for work and then vacation, room was up to date and spacious. Located walking distance to Boston Common, theater district and numerous upscale restaurants. Hotel resteraunt (unless included in hotel package) is pricey $17 for breakfast buffet. Duncan Donuts 2 minute walk away. Will stay here every year on business!

Traveler's tip on nightlife

Numerous restaurants within 5 minute or less walking distance PF Chang’s, Legal Seafoods Maggiano’s Italian is a must.

Awesome Hotel

This hotel is perfectly located in downtown Boston, just blocks from the Commons, and the rooms are beautiful! Clean, new furnishings, great beds and pillows! I traveled the NE backroads for a week and this was the best hotel I stayed in my entire trip.

Boston’s Radisson

The views are great from the 23rd floor and the closeness to Boston Commons and other Boston sites is good.

Great Hotel!

This hotel is in a great location. The "T" subway is only a few block walk and can get you anywhere you need to go. There are plenty of great restaurants in the area. The only negative thing I have to say is that the air-conditioning unit is a bit noisy.

practical, tourist class hotel

i stayed with my two 12 year olds in a double double. fine. VERY nicely located, easy walk to chinatown, park plaza, copley, commons. 7-11 2 blocks. nice for your vacation or business; nothing wrong with the hotel, just slightly plain and industrial. see if you can avoid a room over the AC units/pkg. garage.

Traveler's tip on dining

chinatown’s a great place to eat, so’s north end. we took that stupid "duck" tour in remodeled wwii landing vehicle. dont. there are much better ways to experience city, motorized or on foot. and it’s COSTLY (@$80!)

This hotel was great!

I really enjoyed the sleep number beds. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel was quiet. I loved sitting on the rooftop patio by the pool. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Hotel and very good value

Beds are great and my room was very spacious. The Hotel is located in an area that is great for walking and restaurants.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Choose the room option with parking. Parking is ver expensive in that arae of Boston.

Will definately return to this Radisson!

The perfect location for family fun - a block from the swan boats and park, two blocks from China Town, central to everything! The room was so comfortable, bathroom modern and sleek, all amenities, great staff and price reasonable. Expedia included parking in the rate - quite a bargain since parking is so expensive in Boston. I have no complaints and will stay there again.

1 block away, buy the Old Town Trolley day ticket to jump on and off the trolley all over Boston. It’s a narrated tour. We stayed on for the whole tour first then got on and off.

Great location at an affordable price.

This hotel is in the perfect spot to get to a lot of the sights in historic Boston. Ramp garage attached to the hotel is a big plus. Friendly staff. Pool and exercise room on the roof. A place to lounge on a nice day at the table and chairs on the roof outside the pool area. Best hotel in Boston.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Boston Common. Theatre District. China Town. Historic cemeteries. Bars and restaurants.

Very happy with Hotel

We have stayed at another hotel in Boston that we liked, but were tempted to try the Radisson because of the Sleep Number beds they advertised. We weren’t disappointed. The beds were "dreamy". Easy access on and off the highway and very convienient to many sights in Boston. The only minor complaint was the noisy air conditioning, but overall we loved the place and can’t wait to go back.

Shhhhh best kept secret

This is my favorite hotel to stay at in bean town. central location between Back Bay & North End...means cab rides more realistic for jetting around. Sleep # beds are awesome!

Nice rooms, great location

I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in Boston, and this one had by far the largest rooms. And being just two blocks from the Common and the ’T’ stations was great! Nice indoor pool as well.

Radisson Boston

The view from the 21st floor was amazing.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

The Radisson Boston is right in the middle of all the sights and their free Friday was an added attraction.

not impressed

Although the hotel is located in walking distance to many sites/activities, the staff wasn’t very friendly & there are no refrigerators in the rooms (so my take home lobster dinner had to be tossed out). For the price, I would have been willing to pay more in order to get the room amenities generally offered at hotels I stay at. This was a last minute booking.

Great hotel for the money spent

My husband and I were very impressed with this hotel. It is located in downtown Boston so it is easy access to any of the local attractions. We had tickets to a comedy show and the hotel is only two blocks from the theatre district. If looking for a nice hotel for a reasonable amount of money in downtown Boston then I would strongly suggest booking at this hotel. We didn’t eat at the hotel so I can’t comment on the restaurant.

Great hotel, great location.

We were checked in quickly since we had pre-paid. I think the room was a suite which was great. We had two balconies and lots of room to stretch out in. The bathroon was small with no tub but no big deal, it was very clean and modern decor. I love sleep number beds and choose the Radisson specifically because of them. The concierge was a little growly. There are lots of restaurants nearby from a quick bite to fancy and lots of seafood. We didn’t use public transportation since the sights were all so close.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

If you can pre-pay for parking, do it. It was pricy to park anywhere and prepaying would’ve saved some money.

Great hotel

Very nice hotel for reasonable rate. Rooms were clean and service was very good. Short walk to Boston Commons. Hotel restaurant was average, but others are within walking distance. Fitness room and pool were nice. Overall a very nice experience.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Room had two different rates: one with and one without parking. Parking added about $20 to room rate compared to almost $40 if parking purchased separately. Boston is an easy city to walk and there is plenty of public transportation, so it is well worth parking the car and leaving it to avoid high parking rates.
