Would stay again
I suprise, because I did not expect much based on the reviews. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and gave me a great rate when I extended my stay. It is an older hotel, however for the price you can’t beat it. Our room was very clean and the other guest we met at the pool were very friendly. I would stay her again. I glad I took a chance!

Dirty and unkept
On check in we were received by a staff that didn’t speak English very well. The desk clerk was prompt and impersonal. We didn’t receive and instructions for check out or lists of possible extra charges. She just handed us a key and said good night. The room was dirty. The floor was covered in hair from past guests and dust. The refrigerator wasn’t clean, it still had old food crumbs and sticky stuff from whatever leaked inside. The area that the hotel is in is old and run down looking. A vacant lot filled with tumbleweeds and trash sits next door. It’s a bit of a walk but it is near the main part of Palm Springs shopping areas and the convention center.
Palm Springs is not a family vacation spot. There may be a few things for families such as the museums but the gangs and run down city make it pretty undesirable. Stay in Palm Desert or pick another spot.
