Great Hotel
The location of this hotel was wonderful - looking out at the Grand Canal! It was such a magic place. I love the staff and such a nice size hotel. Our room was clean and charming. A lovely experience.

Great hotel and nice convenient location!
Very nice hotel with much character. Close to vaporetto stop. No internet available, which was not important for us.

Friendly elegance; great location
My first trip to Venice, and the Palazzo Stern over-exceeded my high expectations. Incredibly beautiful, 14th and 15th century art right out your room door! And.. The chandeliers -- In my room, even! Great to catch the waterbus right out the front door, ride along the Grand Canal, then easily catch another boat ride back "home" to rest or change/ re-charge, and go out to see more sites. Awesome, filling delicious breakfast kept me going all day! Can’t wait to go back.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Take the Number ONE line waterbus once you arrive in Venice by waterbus from the airport. Head up the canal just a few more stops from the San Marco landing, and there you are. You will recognize it as you glide past the palace. The stop is called Ca Rediozo(?) Right past the Acedemia Bridge.
