Old Hotel
This Holiday Inn has reasonable rates but it is a very old hotel and it shows. The room I was in was located in a hallway that was so long it could be used for launching 747’s. The room itself suffered from old drab paint and curtains along with remnants of squished bugs on the clothing rack. The noise generated by running the water in the sink, tub or by flushing the toilet was enough to drown out any thoughts in my head. The noise from the nearby freeway was loud all night as well as listening to other folks running their water. It’s a place to sleep and it’s relatively inexpensive especially if you book through Expedia but next time I’ll stay in nearby Whitby, Ontario as there are better options there. Mike S.
