Palermo is not worth visiting ,the only thing that we enjoyed was the Hilton

Not a good choice for having fun
My bride and I stayed here during the last two nights of our honeymoon. We had hoped to relax and get pampered in a nice resort to end of a busy itinerary. This is supposed to be a 4.5 star hotel, but the location is aweful. It is on a busy noisy street pretty much surrounded by shipyards and not very nice neighborhoods. So there isn’t much in the way of entertainment or dining options near by. And the hotel itself has no beach access, has a pretty small pool, and very expensive pool bar and restaurant. Perhaps if you own a boat or sail it is nice to be right on the marina. But otherwise I would stay away. It is possible that Palermo in general may have been a poor destination choice.
I would not recommend this hotel for families or recreational travel. The hotel with its function rooms etc, seems to be catering to business functions and mini conference events.
