Beautiful Cabin
We stayed in Awesome View. It was a very nice cabin. It was a little difficult being so removed from the office and any assistance we may have wanted/needed. If I were to go back I would ask to be in the main area. Plus then you would have access to the pool! Over all it was great trip!
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Be careful we had requested a place with a pool. Smokey Getaways does have a pool but not all of the cabins are allowed to use it. Unfortunately, our cabin was one without privileges.

Not well maintained cabin
The cabins are in the north of Sevierville 14 miles from the Smoky Mountains park entrance, Echota way (35’53’11.45’’ N 83’34’47.30’’ O). The cabins are isolated and the area is quiet. I was in the cabin "Oh la la" which is not well maintained and not clean. The back porch were are the jacuzzi and the grill was very dusty (I’ve not used the jacuzzi for this reason), the hot tub inside was not working. In the kitchen there was no fork, knifes, ..., or can opener and the bed need to be changed. I will not come back in the Smoky Getaways cabins.

The Cottages in Pigeon Forge serviced by Smoky Getaways, a rental service
We used the Smoky Getaways. A full service rental company who has Log Cabins in Pigeon Forge and several of these brand new twin homes called "The Cottages" one block off of the main drag in Pigeon Forge. These twin homes were wonderful! The location was perfect for Christmas shopping at the Christmas Place and was close to everything. The Music Road Hotel and other high priced hotels are right next to these twin homes, one street away. The twin homes (Cottages) are about 1500 sq.Ft. 2 large bedrooms, with King beds, 2 baths. Fireplace, full kitchen, beautiful living room and dining room. Even a large coverd front porch. Clean, perfect and close sure beat a hotel room and there parking lot. We will use again and again.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
Go see the Smith Family show on the main parkway in Pigeon Forge it was a block away from the twin home we rented from Smoky Getaways and the show was great. The Smith Family Show was very entertaining and our whole family liked it.
