I would definitely go back
The hotel is attractive, clean and convenient to all the tourist attractions in Alexandria and nearby Washington, DC. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely return.

Good Value But
We have stayed at this hotel for the past 8-9 years due to the good value. Good indoor/outdoor pool, sauna, health club setup. But hotel has slipped. New management? It has been remodeled, but seems drabber than before. Tub drained very slowly. Large water stain on fabric-covered soffit.Difficult to regulate HVAC with dated unit.What happened to the wonderful Sunday brunch- gone- and the great buffet breakfast- very lame. Housekeeping and restaurant staff attentive, but desk staff too few.
Traveler's tip
For families the hotel is still a good bargain.There is a grocery store across the street. Close to DC and area attractions.If you do not plan to spend a lot of time in your room, you should still consider this one.

nice pool, quiet, pleasant atmosphere.
potatoes served with breakfast were really not too good. One elavator did not go to top floor so we ended up using stairs. Not a problem for us but might be for others. All in all not bad and good location, easy to find. No refridgerator in room.
