good value for money
Room was small but nicely done and comfortable. Good location with really good tram access to other parts of the city. Hotel service friendly.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
If you are a tourist, get the Helsinki card. Allows you entrance to most museums, public transport, including ferries, and some discounts. Even the one day card is worth it but the three day card is a great bargain.

Cool place
Great idea, convert a prison to a hotel!! Everything was great from the staff to the rooms to the breakfast. We also had dinner one night in the jailbird and it was better than we thought it would be. Also it is located at a tram stop or just a 3-5 min walk to downtown. Overall a great experiance. Thanks

One of Helsinki’s Best Hotels
The staff and hotel were exceptional. The hotel is a little off the beaten path but has great access via tram or walking directly to the harbor area. Breakfast was a real treat every morning.
