Free parking, free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, comfortable beds and pillows. 42" Plasma TVs, living room with every room. Easy access to Hwy 50 -in a new hotel. Prices are quite reasonable. We stayed there twice. First after leaving Lake Tahoe on the weekend and then two weeks later whilst heading back to Tahoe from Marin.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Don’t misss American River Park a couple of miles down the road. Miles and miles of bike paths along the river, most in the shade. All the good restaurants are in a shopping center down by this park. Try Ilforno or the Urban Cafe. Raft down the river if you like

We arrived late (10:30pm) and were promptly checked in and given detailed directions to the room. The room was very clean, large, with comfy beds.

The room was very nice, loved the hugh TV and the small bar area in the room with the sink. Would definatly stay here again.

friendly hotel

my kids loved their stay at hyatt place. staff was really nice. didn’t expect very much food choice but was impressed with starbucks and snack menu. will definately stay again if in the area.

Would recommend for family, business, pleasure

We got this room for a weekend getaway. Close drive to Red Hawk Casino. We were very satisfied with our stay. We got a great price. We asked immediately to be moved from the first room assigned as it was next to the elevator, which is noisy. We were then given a room on the front corner of the motel close to the freeway. It was a warm week-end so the air conditioner drowned out the freeway noise. Can’t complain to much though because we got such a great rate and the rooms were clean, and very comfortable. The beds were very good but not the absolute best we’ve had. Overall we would definitely recommend to stay there.

GREAT EXPERIENCE

Hyatt Place seems to be a new effort by Hyatt as a self-service/al’a carte hotel experience. You have self-service check-in/out. There were no real bellhops or front desk, just an all night cafe/lounge area with very helpful attendants. Rooms were very clean and updated. I didn’t mind the self-services aspect of the place as it was easier to deal with logistically. I would definitely stay here again. Although it was not a traditional hotel experience, the staff and overall atmosphere was very, very good. Everyone in my family enjoyed the stay.

Decor of room, cleanliness of the coffee maker in the room and free continental breakfast

The hotel is easy access to and from the freeway. I like the moderness of the room, but the room was very awkward in regards to the empty space in the large living room. The room should have been decorated better to make it more cozy and comfortable. It’ll be so much nicer to have separate tv’s in the living room and the bedroom areas. The coffee maker in the room was very dirty. I tried to clean the coffee maker by running water through it three times and it still had a lot of black specs in it. I went down to the front desk to ask for another coffee maker to use in the room. The continental breakfast was not good. Most of the items are carbs and the cantaloupe was very mushy as if it was defrosted from the freezer. The Starbucks coffee was not very good either. I would recommend this hotel only if the rates are good.

it was okay overall beside the room and bathroom was kinda small. the flat screen tv in the living room is huge and lots of channel to choose so that was very nice. one complain only at about 6am the phone start ringing i never requested a wake up call so i just lift it up and hang up right away so i never found out what was that all about.

Very nice place!

Stayed at this hotel to go to a Sacramento Kings game and San Francisco the next day. Perfect location in relation to freeway access and great for the business traveler. Very friendly stafff.

Large room

Stayed at this hotel twice recently. Once on the way to our destination (Phoenix) and then on the way back home. We had 5 people with us but had plenty of room with the queen pull out. The large widescreen tv was nice. Free continental breakfast was fine (all cold) except for some bread had mold, but they refreshed it right away. Pool is outdoors and was closed for winter. Close to plenty of dining.

Can’t wait to go back

Modern Oasis

We stayed at the Hyatt as part of a birthday surprise for my husband (a whitewater rafting trip) and enjoyed the proximity of the hotel to the river and the amenities, including breakfast, the pool, flatscreen tv, and modern decor. The beds were also very comfortable and the front desk staff was generally very helpful. Two complaints: housekeeping needs to be more thorough and the hotel transportation was not available on a Saturday night.

We enjoyed a very nice dinner at Formaggio at The Marriott, one exit down. Local cab service is very expensive (approx. $11 incl. tip for a one mile trip).

Will stay here again

The staff was professional and attentive. Very clean room with great ammenities. Close to restaurants and stores.

4 star rooms

We were very pleased with our room - spacious, clean, perfect condition. The hotel itself is rather basic - still well kept but not a lot of frills. I will look for more hotels in this line for short stays.

Very nice suite room

Hyatt Place has a very nice, clean and modern suite room at a reasonable price for that. Everything was good especially the huge plasma HDTV that was really crystal clear. The only setback for the hotel is probably the lack of a full complimentary breakfast - there were only bread and cereal and coffee etc. But sitting around in the lobby and etc was a nice experience.

Pleasantly Surprised! Will Return for Future Stays.

I made a website family reservation for 3 rooms due to their great rates. All of us were very impressed upon check-in: each of our rooms had 2 of the most comfortable beds - and pillows. There was also a suite area with a sectional sofa (w/rollout bed), complete with a plasma TV. We all felt at home for our long weekend. An added plus: a great manager and staff that was quickly responsive with a lock issue on our door. While we were there visiting relatives for a family reunion, my mother remarked: "let’s stay here in the future." Enough said. Thanks Hyatt Place!

If you’re looking for restaurants or stores, take the freeway to the next exit (due east): Sunrise. There are many options there. Unfortunately, nothing nearby the Hyatt...

Loved it! Very accomodating!

The hotel was wonderful! We have a baby that cries often throughout the night and we requested to be away from other guests and they happily accomodated our request. Breakfast was great. Nice pool. Good shopping and good dining within a short drive.

Eat out! The dine in while it is quick and easy it is rather pricey and the food isn’t the best.

Great even though the lights went out

Our stay was great! I was very impressed with the modern feel and great accomidations that they provided. We did loose electricity for most of the day that we were there but that was mother nature...not their fault. My only complaint would be that the food from the kitchen was a bit over priced and did not have a lot of flavor. They are located by many places to eat..so just head out to one of them.

The hotel was everything we hoped it would be. We did have a problem with the toliet flushing and instead of having to wait for a service repair person, the staff just had us move to a new room immediately which was extremely helpful since my child was ill. The room was very clean, roomy and the staff friendly and helpful. We feel we got the best room in the area for the money we spent. We would stay there again and again.

Lots of shopping around. Two very large malls within a 10 mile range. Costo down the street and Wal-mart across the hyway. Lots of places to eat from fast food to nice dinning. Right of the hyway, but without the noise.

The hotel was clean & comfortable. Easy access off and off highway, free continental breakfast was good.

Best Hotel Ever for my family

The hotel and staff were the best of any place I had ever been to. They were accommodating and friendly, the rooms were spacious and worth the price at twice the price. The staff went out of their way to make our whole party comfortable and glad to be there. We had a party at a family members home and we wished we would have been able to have it at the hotel instead.

A Wonderful Stay

Hyatt hotel took over the Amerisuites hotel in Rancho Cordova. They have completely redone the rooms with very comfortable wrap around sofas and a big leather hassock that is roomy enough to sleep on. All the rooms have flat screen HD tv’s. The beds are extremely comfortable and the bathrooms have been updated. The hotel still offers a complementary breakfast that is very good, but in addition you can order cooked food for both breakfast and dinner that is excellent and well priced. The hotel is clean, well lit and the staff is extremely friendly. I had two other families who also chose the Hyatt and we all agreed that it is now our favorite hotel in Rancho Cordova. We visit there often because we attend horseshows at Rancho Murrietta and Starr Vaughn, so they will be getting our repeat business.
