Wonderful Experience
My wife and I travel quite a bit. This was without a doubt one of our most pleasurable hotel experiences ever. We felt as if we we were treated like visiting royalty. Couldn’t be happier.

excellent choice for a discerned traveller
This hotel has style on the inside which is a nice surprize and retreat from the bustling and busy Beijung outside. People are extremely helpful and the hotel tries to maintain class very well. It is connected to a shopping area - and there is a lot to do there if you have extra time beyong sightseeing. My only "grudge" is the buffet breakfast - could be a little "fancier" for the hotel class. Also - the vehicular access to this hotel is somehow complicated because of the series of ramps and detours you have to take that lead you out of the expressway. I would recommend though as a good choice for a picky traveller.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Try to see local markets - like the Pearl Market ( you will see sacks of pearls lying around) - great prices, bargain hard - you can get things for 20-30 cents on the dollar. The trip to Badaling Great China wall is highly recommended, as well as the Olympic sites - the Birds nest and Ice cube. Try to book tickets in the new paerfomring arts center - right beahind the Great Hall of People - in the so called "Egg" - a building in the water.
