Wonderful downtown Indianapolis
Crown Plaza was a jewel in the midst of a crown. It was a unique experience, staying in the midst of an old railroad station, creatively remodeled to keep the original atmosphere with comforts of a hotel. The "boys" (my son in law and 7 year old grandson) really enjoyed looking at the trains.

Great Experience
We had a great stay. Everything was great and we would go back. About the only thing to complain about was the extra 7.50 charge on the breakfast buffet for orange juice. Both of us ordered OJ and the extra 15 bucks jacked up the bill to 40 dollars. Hotel was easy walking distance to Lucas Oil Stadium and Circle Centre Mall.

One thing to note: If you have a large SUV, be real careful of the low ceilings in the parking garage.

great location
Given the price it was located near many things to do and see. Food and beverage places were very close. It is a train station so be prepared for the rumbling of trains, they tell you all about it ahead of time. I might try and stay in one of the train car rooms, they looked cool. Rooms could use some updating/more extensive cleaning perhaps.
