"Would stay here again"
We have travelled to many countries, and Paris is by far our favorite. The location of the hotel is unbeatable. The Metro (subway) is a block away, and the staff is very friendly. Rooms are small, but most european hotel rooms are small.
We always travel during the off season no matter which country we visit. The hotel/airfare rates are lower and we dont have to deal with standing in long lines to see the attractions. Walk everywhere, and use the Metro (subway) for day trips (i.e. Versailles).

Good central Paris location
This hotel is two blocks from the Louvre, the Seine, and the Tuilleries. There are also two Metro lines within three blocks. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was very small with barely enough room for a double bed, a small desk, and a wall mount TV. The bath was literally a glassed-in enclosure for a good sized shower, toilet and free standing sink. If youre staying with a companion, there would be no privacy. Tiny closet, no dresser, very little place to put things. Other rooms may have been bigger.
I went in late October, and by this time the Chateau at Versailles had shut down all its fountains. It was also bitter cold.

great place to stay
The hotel is located very close to the louvre, as well as a number of other sites to see. The restaurant was great for both breakfast and dinner. The art deco chairs were not the most comfortable ,but that was quickly forgotten as the staff was so welcoming and the food was great. would stay at this hotel again .
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Right around the corner from the Louvre. Very close by to the metro . Very easy to get around without a car.
