UPGRADING
Blue Chairs is definitely making the efforts to upgrade their rooms and services. I’d give them Grade A for effort. While we had some problems, the staff was very proactive in trying to resolve any problems.

Awful! Awful! Awful! Never to return again!
Day 1 - This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I booked a ocean front room and when we checked in, our room was not available - they gave us an interior room with the promise to move to to an ocean front room the next day. Day 2 - We got moved to out ocean front room and spent the day at the beach - when we came back, there was NO WATER in the hotel. They promised that the water would be back on soon. Day 3 - STILL NO WATER!!!! They did offer me a margarita for my troubles. Promised water would be back by noon. Day 3, 12: 01 PM - Still NO WATER. We checked out and moved to another hotel. Because we checked out after "check-out" They wanted to charge me another nights stay. This place is awful. The service is awful. This is the kind of place you stay at once because you don’t know any better, but you never stay there again.

Great place to relax
Staff was professional and friendly. You couldn’t stay at nicer place right on the beach. Some rooms are small but ours was spectacular. Can’t have nicer people to be with on the beach or the hotel restraunt or roof bar. You’ll meet lots of great other guests, too. Enjoy!
Traveler's tip on dining
La Piazzetta (sp?) is great. Not to far by cab. Also, Garbo’s is a nice American bar for good Martini’s, etc.
