An excellent choice
Farmona’s friendly, hospitable staff showed genuine concern for us and provided valuable guidance in finding our way around. Convenient access to public transportation makes it easy to go into Kraków’s Stare Miasto (Old City) and other parts of town. The hotel’s complimentary breakfast includes items from both American and Continental cuisines, and the food is of excellent quality. Although our room was rather small, it was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. After two weeks there, we were sad to have to leave.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
The Magnifica restaurant, located inside the Farmona, is rather exotic and pricey. Much better meal deals can be found in the Old City. A bus stop, located just around the corner, can provide a quick ride to the tramway terminal at Borek Fałecki, but you can save a bus fare if you’re willing to walk several blocks more to the terminal instead. The tramway will have you in the Old City in 20-30 minutes, much better than you’d do by car in the congested city streets.
