Missing that special something
Recently stayed one night at the Avalon in central Gothenburg. Nicely designed hotel, great location, but service left some to be desired. On their website they mention their car valet service as a special feature, but when we showed up the garage was full and nothing was done to help us with parking. Table service in bar was so slow that we ended up going to bar ourselves. Apart from these minor glitches it’s a hotel we would stay in again. However, to fully live up to the vision they have of their hotel, service needs to be taken up a notch.

Visit the indoor food market next door, as well as Italian deli "Aldardo". Fantastic food!
