Beautiful! But....
This place was a delight. The view was amazing and the property was rustic and comfortable. My only complaint is try to visit when they are not having a late night wedding. It was so loud we couldnt sleep until it was over at 2am. I feel that when you pay their rates, you should be able to enjoy the night peacefully. Perhaps an earlier cut off time for evening weddings. The hotel suggested a great little place to eat. The food was better than anywhere we ate in Italy.

Great view overlooking Pisa.
Beautiful gardens, great dining room and food. This hotel is definately on a mountain on a very narrow road. We had to blow our horn going around curves to get up there. There was a communication barrier until we met the main chef who spoke English. We became great friends. He was so helpful which made our stay a success

Very remote and hard to find. Call ahead -restaurant may be closed.
Hotel is well hidden and somewhat hard to find. But when you do finally find the road to the hotel, beware...it is steep, narrow, and no guardrails. Bring your nerves. However, once you arrive the grounds are lovely and the view breathtaking. When we arrived, we found out that the restaurant was closed to host a wedding. I suggest that you call ahead to see if the restaurant is open. Or be prepared to drive back down the steep hill for dinner.
