I Second That!
Do not even think about staying anywhere else in Durango. The hotel is surprisingly luxurious, the gardens and pool are beautiful and well-maintained, and the staff was quite helpful with my business needs. The restaurants are good. It’s easy to get cabs and a short walk to the center of the city where business is done. I saw only 3 other hotels in town and this is by far the nicest and quite a good value.

Best hotel in Durango
By far, the Hotel Gobernador is the best place for a business traveler. Good internet access, competent staff (with excellent English), and close to a gigantic store for anything you forgot.
