The charm of a bed and breakfast with the amenities of a fine hotel
Fines Bayliwick is situated in a large Victorian era structure on a quiet cul-de-sac. From the moment you enter the foyer, you know you are in for something special. From the large parlor to the elegant glass-ceiling dining room, the hotel evokes an long-past era when travel was refined and every corporate hotel room wasn’t cut from the same die. My room was spacious; the attention to period detail from the canopied-bed to the corner fireplace was exceptional. While I was traveling on business, this is the type of place I was love to stay at on holiday with my wife. The hotel has full restaurant and bar; while I did not have an opportunity to enjoy evening dining (the sports pub and Champions League matches took precedence), the full English breakfast was done to perfection. The sun filtering through the trees and glass ceiling of the dining room capped a great stay.
