Nice Hotel but Weird European Bathroom Design
Everything is excellent about the hotel except the design of their bathroom. The sink keeps all dirty water within the sink while washing your face. Because of square design that has no inclination built into it one must clean it by hand. The showers have the same problem. The designer must have been someone who never takes showers; how can someone design a bathroom like this? Otherwise, the front-desk personnel are very helpful, smiling. The weather was rainy, they gave me an umbrella plus adopter for the outlets. Excellent folks. The location is a little off too. One can do better in Old town. Equal or better hotels and location.

Swissotel in Tallinn, Estonia
One of the newest and nicest hotels in Tallinn! Get a Bay view King bed room and you will be extremely pleased. Walking distance to Old Town and many restaurants. If traveling alone and don’t want to venture out to eat, the upgrade to Executive Level (reasonable for the area) gives you a great breakfast buffet, a light lunch (soup & salad etc) and plenty to eat for dinner along with all you care to drink (wine, beer & liquor). The pool/spa is great with a small but adequate work out room, steam room and a sauna with a great view. Hotel staff are attentive, friendly and helpful. Book through EXPEDIA and not the hotel for the BEST rates. Traveler’s Tip Category: attractions Traveler’s Tip: Old Town is a must see for anyone traveling to Tallinn! Troyka in on the square in Old Town is great for authentic Russian food!

A wonderful Experience
Why would you want to stay anywhere else in Tallinn? This hotel is absolutely wonderful! The rooms are spacious, the bathroom is glorious (very contemporary with little glass tiles)and the views of the city are spectacular. The staff is friendly and helpful. It was the hotel bench mark of a 12 day visit to the Balkans and Norway!
