Plan to Stay Here Again
My wife and I had a fairly lengthy stay at A Stones Throw Away - a little bit more than a week. The casual, relaxed environment really helped us enjoy ourselves. It is the perfect place to stay for those who wish to avoid the crowds at the Atlantis, or for those simply wishing to have a place to stay in Nassau that is a good value. They have what is truly the best view on the island, and the beach is only a block away. Several times I went snorkeling right off that beach and the reefs there are every bit as interesting as those I saw while scuba diving off the south side of the island (minus the sharks). I definitely plan to stay here again!

Im In Love.............
I had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful B&B for 3 days and everyone was great! The only issue I ha is with taking the jitney bus *nightmare*.I read the other reviews and thought it was a great way to get around since I didnt rent a car (wrong). The only time the bus runs is from 6am-9am and 4pm-6pm other than that you need to take a cab. Even if you take a cab into Cable Beach to catch the jitney after 9am it will run you $20. I paid $20 for a 5 min ride and still stood on the side of the road for over 20mins. Please take note so you wont waste time trying to get downtown. Other than that the place was amazing!!
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Make sure you plan ahead!! I also didnt know Atlantis Beach was open to the public. Do your research before you go.

Amazing quiet BEAUTIFUL place to stay! away from all the tourism
This place was absolutely beautiful. We cannot wait to go back. Off the beaten path, away from all the busy parts of the island. Quiet and peaceful. Service was better than you could ask for. They really take care of you. Did I say the place was beautiful? It was like something from a movie. Pictures do it no justice. Area was really safe and quiet too. loved the breakfast on the porch overlooking the ocean. Definitely recommend the ocean view room ;-)
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Take the bus if you want to go into town. Little snorkel & dive place just west of "A Stones Throw Away", cheaper than Stuarts Cove, plus its private.
