The best hotel (even though not the most expensive) Ive stayed in Sweden
Ive never written a hotel review, but this hotel stands out so clearly in terms of value for money among other ~5 hotels Ive stayed during my last trip to Sweden that Ive decided to take time and recommend it to others. Whats good: -New! -Nicely and thoughtfully designed! - convenient to get to from Arlanda airport. Just take an airport bus (~110 SEK, goes each 15 minutes), in about 35 minutes get off at Norra Station and walk some 5 minutes) - Salmon on breakfast! And breakfast is great in general - private sauna. I dont mind sharing sauna with other people at all, but the cute swedish tradition of not having changing rooms in saunas has always puzzled me. Here you can at least leave your cloth at a chair without causing inconvenience to others - A supermarket downstairs Whats not so good: - it took me 2 days to get an iron and a board in my room. Theres a room with an iron and a board but there can be a line of people in the morning - internet absolutely sucked during all 5 days of my stay. But then I learned that Internet sucks in all swedish hotels... - T-Bana is not that close. I walk fast but it still took me ~7-8 minutes to get to/from T-Bana. Still better than to bother about a car and a parking in Stockholm
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
A supermarket downstairs. And visit a vodka&wine museum nearby:)
