The Priory Inn located in the historic market town of Tetbury, called the 'Gem of the Cotswolds' is a winner of a Trio of Awards including the Harden's Remy Restaurant Award, Cotswold Life Food and Drink Award and a Taste of The West Dining Pub Silver Award. The Hotel is a privately owned Family run Gastro-Inn which is largely Family Oriented. The hotel has all modern facilities with a selection of toys for the younger generation and the staff are child friendly with the commitment to making your stay as enjoyable for you as well as your children.The Inn also caters to Businesses large and small and has on-site, a conference room which seats 26 (or 35 theatre style), ample parking and Wi-Fi access throughout the hotel. Also on-site is a Beauty and Holistic Treatment Salon, useful to de-stress. The 65 cover gastro-inn provides a seasonal feast of modern rustic food at afordable prices. There are delicious English-tapas plates available at the bar, mouth-watering à la carte dishes and variety of gourmet pizzas from our wood-fired oven. Uncomplicated food cooked simply, but exceptionally well, determined by what is in season and enjoyed in a relaxed and unpretentious setting. Bare floorboards, exposed beams, a massive walk-around open fire, oak tables (candles at night) and colourful canvases painted by local artists. The simple, informal approach adopted by our service staff is professional, yet friendly and never pretentious. We have live acoustic singer/songwriters every Sunday from 8pm (often local musicians). The Priory Inn has a cosy Bar area which, like the rest of the Hotel, is family friendly. Hosting a selection of Guest ales from local breweries aswell as the usual favourites, the guest is really spoilt for choice but for those not wanting a tipple, the bar also offers coffee, cappuccino and soft drinks and a selection of drinks for children including the caffeine-free Babyccino.

Pleasant overnight hotel close to the centre of downtown area
This was a pleasant 3star family run hotel a few minutes walk from the centre of the lovely Cotswold small town of Tetbury. The rooms were spacious with very comfortable king-size bed.The restaurant service was efficient with an acceptably varied menu focusing on locally sourced food.As a place for an overnight stay en route it was just right, though clearly with this star rating it does not have any extensive or luxurious recption rooms or facilities, but it suited our needs well enough and was good value for money
