Nice location but big difference in room amenities.
The Diplomat front office staff was very friendly and helpful. We moved rooms a couple of times after first arriving and saw a big difference in the conditions of each room (they have different owners). Many rooms need updating. Cleanliness was so-so. Problems with TV and closet door. Pool was nice. Pretty good walk to ocean front but not too bad. Very close to amusement parks so that was great for kids. Would consider going back but would want to get there early enough to check room conditions.
