Great Location & Service
The hotel had a perfect location. It was under 10 minutes to walk to the Haghia Sophia and Blue Mosque, about 15 to the Grand Bazaar and about 5 to the water to cross over the bridge. There was also a tram stop a minute away. The service was excellent. When we checked in, the staff went over the map and guide book with us. Breakfast was included and was quite extensive. Each afternoon, there was afternoon tea and a chance to chat with the other guests. Istanbul was amazing and the hotel staff did a wonderful job making sure that we were happy.

Nice hotel
We were only in the hotel for one night but we found it to be a pleasant experience. The check-in was quick and easy and the concierege was very helpful, providing a map and suggestions for whaat to see. The restaurant downstairs was good for dinner and the breakfast buffet offered a nice selection. If we ever get to Istanbul again we would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again

Great Location but Nothing Works
Great location with walking access to many of Istanbuls sights. Hotel staff were quite helpful and polite. Big problem was that nothing in the room seemed to work. It was cold and rainy while we were there but the heater in the room could only be turned on during certain days and times. This made the room uncomfortably cool. There was a heated towel rod in the bathroom -- which would have been good for drying wet clothes -- but it went (or was turned) off in the middle of the night before the job was done. The TV didnt work. Quality of the food in the hotel restaurants was below average.

Flawless
Great location, great staff and great rooms. Affordable luxury in the heart of the old town. Easy walking to all major attractions. Staff is amazing! Take advantage of their afternoon tea, and weekly cooking lessons. Rooms are top-notch.
Traveler's tip on dining
Check out the roof-top terrace at their sister hotel, Orient Express, for a nice dinner with fantastic views.

Old town Istanbul
A nice hotel in an excellent location. The room was small but clean with a decent bed. Shower and bath was very nice. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is down the street from the Blue Mosque, Sophia Hagia, and the Cistern. The Spice Bazaar and the Grand Bazaar were also within walking distance. Dont miss the Turkish Bath. All in all and excellent value.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Have the Hotel book your Turkish Bath with the Ceribulim Bath. Built in 1584, the baths are very local and authentic.
